Aberdeenshire Educational Trust Further Education Grant

Please complete this form if you wish to apply for a grant to help fund your further education. To be eligible for this grant, you must be resident in a property which is within the former Aberdeen County Council area.

During the application you may have the opportunity to upload some documents that back up your claim. These include:

  • proof of any benefits that you are receiving
  • proof of any earnings and other income or savings

Please provide a copy of your confirmation email stating that you have started your course. This can be uploaded or emailed to asataet@aberdeenshire.gov.uk.

Section 4 - Information on your fees, residence and travel
Provide amount for your entrance fee, examination fee and other costs, for example, books, equipment, special clothing etc

Section 5 - What you are claiming for through the Further Education Grant
Please note receipts must be provided as proof of purchase.
Section 6 - Information on bursaries or grants recieved

This does not include student loans

Section 7 - Your income
Please only complete this section if you are applying under Section 26, 32, 33, 34 or 35.

Please use this to provide any further details which you feel may be helpful to us when looking at your application
Section 9 - Declaration by applicant
If a parent or guardian completed Section 6, this section must also be completed by them.
