It is the Councils policy to refund any overpayment which may be due to you by BACS (i.e. directly into your bank account)

If you do not currently pay by Direct Debit you can provide your bank details now and these will be used for repaying any overpayment that may be due to you. If you do not provide bank details at this time and it is subsequently found that there is an overpayment of Business Rates to repay to you, we will contact you again and ask for your bank details at that time. Please note that by having to do so it will delay the issue of any refund due to you.

We may share the information provided by you with other government and public bodies, such as HM Revenue and Customs, other local authorities or the Grampian Assessor.  Your information may also be shared with other sections of the Council to allow us to provide statutory functions. We will not share or use information about you for other purposes, unless the law allows us to.
