Find out about the £6m Low Carbon Challenge Fund pot

The Low Carbon Challenge Fund offers European Regional Development Fund match funding to successful applications from the academic, public and third sectors to support initiatives that will help Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to unlock global opportunities of the climate emergency.  The aim is to fund initiatives that support SME innovation in areas that contribute to reducing emissions, for example, low carbon transport, low carbon heat, energy efficiency, renewables and carbon capture.

The £6m fund will be accepting outline project applications from the academic, public and third sector until 21 February 2020.  To find out more there is an information session in Edinburgh on Monday 27th January and a webinar which will be available to view from Tuesday 28th January.  Further details, including for the information session and webinar, are available through the Scottish Enterprise website.
