Staff Mobilisation Platform to be launched

Staff Mobilisation Platform – Goes Live on Monday 25 May 2020

As outlined within the 13th April staff bulletin, a mobilisation platform has been developed to support services in the deployment of staff to critical roles by identifying potential matches based on an employee’s relevant skills, knowledge and experience. This platform, which will go live on Monday, 25 May, comprises of two databases:

·         Employee Availability Database, which is primarily used for accessing information on employees and updating their status in respect of their availability to be mobilised.

·         Employee Search Database, which allows managers, or staffing teams, to identify those employees available for mobilisation who possess some, or all, of the required essential competencies to undertake a Key Worker role.

Service-specific arrangements for the use of the databases will be communicated to you in due course.

Further information on the mobilisation process can be found here. The Availability and Search databases are accessed through the Line Manager section of the askHR portal, along with full guidance of their use.

Employees will be able to record any relevant skills, training and experience they may have, outwith their current role, using their ESS account.  This functionality will be made available during the first week of June and further communication will be issued at that time.
