Motorists advised of closure to B979 Netherley road

The B979 Netherley road is to be closed from the A90 slip road junction to New Mains of Ury from Monday, July 18, for five days.

The closure will run until Friday, July 22, to allow trial excavation and drainage works to be carried out for the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route project.

The diversion route will be signed via the B979 Netherley road to the B9077 South Deeside road and onto the A90, and vice versa.

The road will be fully closed for the duration of the works. Access to the AWPR Offices and Megray House will be maintained from the Stonehaven side, while access to New Mains of Ury will be maintained from the Netherley side.
