Who should get a share of £35,000? You decide!

Garioch residents are being invited to decide which local projects should receive funding.

Sixteen projects which tackle social isolation or encourage inclusion in the Garioch area have submitted bids for a share of £35,000.

As part of the Your Voice Your Choice Initiative members of the public over the next few weeks will get to choose which of the 16 community groups who applied will get a share of the funding pot.

Each project has produced a poster for their project and these will be on display at the
• Kintore Festival on 20 May
• Westhill Gala on 3 June and
• Insch Strawberry Fayre on 11 June

Arrangements are also being made for displays at Inverurie and Kemnay which will be announced shortly.

Members of the public will be asked to vote for three projects at these events. The projects with the most votes will receive the funding they requested during the application process.

The winners will be announced at an awards evening at the end of June.

The sixteen community groups looking for your votes are:
1. Go Dynamix,
2. Peer Support Group Inverurie,
3. Kiddiwinks Nursery,
4. Gordon Riding School for the Disabled,
5. Bennachie Leisure Centre,
6. Foos yer Doos,
7. EASI,
8. Inverurie Men's Shed,
9. Westhill Men's Shed,
10. Garioch Community Kitchen,

12. Kellands Primary School,
13. The Clachan,
14. Pitscurry Environmental Project,
