Get a taste of culture and sport & physical activity in Fraserburgh

A range of events are taking place in Fraserburgh to mark the local launch of the culture and sport & physical activity strategy.

Musicians from the Royal Conservatoire Scotland’s (RCS) North East Arts Hub will be providing a melodious backdrop for visitors to Fraserburgh Community and Sports Centre. There will be a variety of musical instruments people can have a go at playing and you find out what opportunities are available with the RCS. This activity takes place from 11am to 1pm tomorrow (Thursday, July 12).

There are also a series of taster sessions including free swim sessions, floats and flumes. Other taster sessions include local cricket rugby, running, exercise classes, Jog Scotland and accessible bikes. For the more adventurous there will be zorbing, a climbing wall and a bouncy castle.

Demonstrations from a local karate club, gymnastics and local dance schools will take place too. Sporran Nation will be displaying a selection of their contemporary sporrans.  The taster sessions start at 10am and run until 4pm.
