Bridge of Don Sea Cadets

Bridge of Don Sea Cadets are part of the UKs largests maritime youth charity. Cadets go to sea, learn to sail and do adventure training, all on a nautical theme, plus get extra skills to give you a head start in life. You can join us as a cadet if you are 10-18. Our unit is based in the Gordon Barracks, Bridge of Don and we meet on a Monday and Wednesday Evenings. All of our instructors are volunteers and we currently offer the following training to cadets - Navigation, Rope Work, Marine Engineering, Duke of Edinburgh Award, Sailing, First Aid, Rowing and Power Boating. As well as the specialisations we also help the cadets with gaining self confidence, discipline, problem solving and team work.
