Holiday camps are here again

Bookings are now being taken for full and half day holiday camps run by Live Life Aberdeenshire over the summer.

The fun-filled camps have a huge variety of ways to entertain and educate your children over the holidays.

Eight venues across Aberdeenshire will host full day holiday camps. Youngsters will have the opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills and try new activities.

Stonehaven, Alford, Fraserburgh, Huntly, Turriff, Peterhead, Ellon and Banff will all host sports activities camps run by experienced coaches. There will be opportunities for learning, storytelling and coding as there will be sessions run by the Live Life Aberdeenshire Library and Information Service too.

The holiday camps run from 9am to 5pm with full and half day options. Children can be dropped off at 7:30am to be looked after and collected at 6pm. Places can be booked online or over the counter at a participating leisure centre.

Highlights this summer include NERF Wars, a visit to a fire station, water safety training, creepie critters, simple science and skiing and tubing sessions. There will be plenty of opportunities to go swimming, take part in sports activities, use the mobile climbing wall, complete the bike track as well as find out about Body Zorbs.
