Latest workshops announced in series of Creative Aberdeenshire Network events

A series of workshops is taking place in Aberdeenshire to help those in the Creative Sector build partnerships, knowledge, and develop their practice.

The next event runs from 7-9pm this Friday (August 23) at the Scottish Sculpture Workshop (SSW) in Lumsden.

It’s an Introduction to culture cafes; the social and creative networking phenomena of building partnerships over good food.

It features guest speakers Diane Smith, from Moray's Culture Café, and Petra Pennington, Art and Community Worker from arts organisation Deveron Projects, as well as good local food.

Live Life Aberdeenshire is delivering this series of workshops and networks events, designed to be thought provoking, stimulating and helpful to the creative and third sectors across the area.

They are born from the Place Partnership programme developed with Creative Scotland and the subjects of the workshops arose from consultation and discussion with the local creative sector.

Three more events in the 2019 series are coming up for anyone in the Creative Sector, amateur or professional, who is interested in building their networks and learning something new.

Events are free but booking is essential by emailing: artsteam@aberdeenshire.gov.uk
