Have your say on BT phonebox consultation

BT are currently carrying out a consultation on the proposed removal of 28 public phone boxes in Aberdeenshire.

You may have already seen details of this consultation posted on affected phoneboxes located in your area.

Following an initial consultation with communities, Aberdeenshire Council has prepared a draft response to BT setting out whether we agree or object to the proposals for each phone box and the reasons why.

Our draft response can be viewed by clicking here and going to the Related Documents section: http://bit.ly/AbshireBT

We would now like to ask for any further comments on the draft before submitting our final response to BT.

Please email any comments or feedback to statistics@aberdeenshire.gov.uk by 7th April, 2020.

Communities may be interested to know that they have the option of ‘adopting’ their local box once the phone has been removed.  More information on this can be found at http://bt.com/adopt
