Applications open for Marr Area Large and Small Grant Schemes

Aberdeenshire Council is now welcoming applications for the Marr Area Small and Large Grant Schemes.

Funding was agreed by the Marr Area Committee on 30 March 2021.

The Large Grant Scheme will provide funding of up to £5000 towards projects in the Marr area which aim to help improve local communities. The goal is to deliver projects within Marr that adhere to the following local priorities, as outlined in the Marr Community Plan 2019 to 2022.

• Empowered and confident communities
• Economically vibrant communities
• Healthy, safe, and thriving communities
• Connected communities
• Natural Heritage and Environment

In addition, grants of up to £2000 will be available from the Small Grant Scheme and will follow the same criteria.

Applications are invited from constituted groups in the Marr area. Projects awarded funding must be completed by the end of February 2022 and applicants will be expected to identify match funding, normally at least 50% of total project costs.

To apply for the Marr Area Small Grant Scheme, you can complete an application form here.

The deadline for submitting applications to the Large Grant Scheme is 14 May 2021, and applications for Small Grants will be accepted throughout the year, until the funding is fully committed.
