Cropmarks of a ring-ditch, a possible ploughed-out barrow. Recorded by the RCAHMS during aerial reconnaissance in 1977 and subsequently in 1993, 1994, 2001 and 2004. It is a circular ditch with no entrance and measures circa 9 m in diameter. Aerial photographs taken in 1977 and 1993 show a small central pit, possibly a burial pit. A larger cropmark suggests an elongated pit feature within the north perimeter of the possible barrow ditch. Irregular cropmarks to the south, visible on 2004 aerial photographs, are probably geological, but at least one circular feature resembles a pit-defined circle of similar dimensions to the possible barrow.
