Details Cropmarks of a possible pit-alignment. Recorded by the RCAHMS in 1984. The alignment shows as a short length of widely spaced pits, aligned roughly north-northeast to south-southwest. It is 850 m west-southwest of Wester Cardean farmstead and lies in the same field as Cardean Roman fort (NO24NE0012). The alignment is visible from circa NO 2866 4593 to NO 2870 4603, a distance of circa 100m.
