Farmstead still in use. On the 1st edition OS map it is shown as a U-shaped steading, with court open to the south-east but partially blocked by a southern range and with a horse-mill attached to the north. To the east are the farmhouse and garden, with two other small rectangular buildings. By the time of the 2nd edition, the southern range of the steading and one of the smaller buildings to the east had been removed. The steading has been extended at the north and roofed over. A further group of building is shown to the south of the steading. The 2006 map shows that all of these buildings are in use. The horsemill, recorded by Hume in 1974, is early 19th century, of rubble and slate construction.
