Details Farmstead still in use. The 1st edition OS map shows a U-plan steading with the court open to the south. To the east is a T-plan house and garden. By the 2nd edition OS map both of these buildings have been extended further and a small square outbuilding had been added to the west of the steading. Described in the Forfarshire OS Name Books, 1857-1861 volume 62 (OS1/14/62/17) as: 'A good farm steading the property of the Earl of Airlie.'. Photographic recording was carried out in 2019 ahead of proposed development.
