The remains are visible on the east facing lower slopes of Cuilt Hill at the head of Backwater Reservoir. There are also heather-covered footings of two bow-ended houses lying on the western edge of the rigs, lying within the enclosure on the north-west edge. Outside the enclosure on the south-west side are heather-covered footings of a rectangular shaped building. A modern track cuts across the rigs and enclosure.
