Details Pictish Class II cross-slab. St Martin's Stone is an upright broken cross-slab 2m x 0.68m x 0.17m, sculptured in relief on one side, standing within an iron fence. It is of sandstone and is broken away at the top. On the east face is the lower end of a cross-shaft bearing a horseman, Below that are the 'Pictish Beast', a serpent and Z-rod symbol and a second equestrian figure all carved in relief.
