Site of a possible stone circle, exact location unknown. Inglis recorded in 1888 'South of Templelands stood a stone circle which was removed during excavations for railway purposes'. This undoubtedly refers to the construction of the deviation section of the Dundee-Newtyle line, opened in 1860 by the Caledonian Railway, to avoid the inclines of the Auchterhouse section of the former Dundee and Newtyle Railway.
