Details Pictish Symbol Stone. A Class I Pictish symbol stone was built into a dyke on the farm of Strathmartine Castle, in a field immediately southeast of the castle, between it and Gallow Hill. It was subsequently moved to 10 Glamis Drive, Dundee and was listed as a Scheduled Ancient Monument. It was recorded there at NO3692 3024 by the OS in 1958. It is now in Dundee Museum. The stone is 1.35m high, of undressed whinstone and bears an incised crescent and V-rod and a 'Pictish Beast' symbol.
