Details Cropmarks of a fort recorded by the RCAHMS in 1977 and 1984 and CUCAP in 1979 during aerial reconnaissance. It lies mostly in arable farmland and comprises the remains of a roughly oval fort measuring about 250m East-West by approximately 160m overall, with four lines of defensive ditches, up to around 4m wide with a possible outer palisade. There are a number of dark cropmarks within the ditched area may represent the remains of former internal buildings. The north-west section of the fort, which lies within a young plantation, is likely to have been badly damaged.
