House, dating from the 18th century, with 19th century alterations. Tall 2-storey and attic, 2-bay, rectangular-plan house raised from the lower original 2-storey cottage, with gable end to Main Street. Constructed of random rubble with stone margins and dry dash with cement margins. The gable end has two blocked windows from the original 2-storey form, between the two ground floor and the two raised first floor windows, with two tiny windows in the gablehead. Horizontal 12-pane glazing pattern in timber sash and case windows to Main Street, top-opening timber windows elsewhere. Grey slated roof, with coped ashlar stacks with polygonal cans.
