Details Bridge over Dean Water, dated 1697. Single segmentally-arched hump bridge of rubble construction, with dressed voussoirs and chamfered ashlar coping. It is 8 ft (2.44m) wide between the parapets, with an inset panel inscribed 'E C' 'JS 1697 ES', with a coronet and monograms of Earl John and Countess Elizabeth. The bridge connects access from the North Lodge Gate (NO34NE0104) in the northwest to the designed landscape (NO34NE0088) and Glamis Castle (NO34NE0001) to the east.
