Details Possible site of fort. Warden and Sirton both claim that there is a circular fort on the 'Hill of Dunoon', a short distance east of Kinpurnie Hill. This could refer to the fort on Denoon Law, but Stirton, after describing Denoon Law fort, states there is a circular fort on another hill on the south of the glen. This fort was not located during field investigation, and study of air photographs by the OS failed to reveal the site. It has been suggested (2019) that the location may be NO 3404 4111, based on the pattern of tree cover, but the topography (steep slopes) at this location would argue against this.
