Details Farmstead and C-listed farmhouse, still in use. On the 1st edition OS map it is shown as comprising the farmhouse at the south-west, a rectangular pond with sluice to the north and a steading to the east. The steading is U-plan and open to the south, although the court is mostly filled. The 2nd edition OS map shows that the pond has a mill dam and that the farmstead is enclosed in a D-plan enclosure, with another smaller D-plan enclosure containing the farmhouse. The steading court has been totally filled, and there is a new rectangular building to the south of the pond. Current maps indicate that the has been infilled, and the rectangular building to the south of it removed. The steading has been extended to the north. The farmhouse is dated 1860, and is a small single-storey and attic Tudor-gothic building. It is harled and has a slate roof.
