Details Former North Free Church, designed by Wm Paterson in 1846, depicted on OS 1st and 2nd edition maps, later the hall to the nearby St Ninian's Church. Of L-plan, built of red coursed rubble with plain Tudor openings. The gable of the main facade is surmounted by a corbelled octagonal bellcote. The building was extensively remodelled in the early 1960s, when a kitchen and WCs were installed on the lower floor, and a stage and meeting room were added in the large floor space above. Building recording was carried out in 2013 ahead of proposed development.
