Farmstead, still in use, and a C-listed farmhouse. On the 1st edition OS map (circa 1846) it is shown as a group of buildings, one with an enclosure. There are three buildings that are larger than the others, which are rectangular and oriented North-West/South-East. On the 2nd edition map (circa 1888), some of the buildings have gone, and others have been altered. The farmhouse, previously the Northern of the rectangular buildings, has had a wing added mid-way up its North-East elevation, forming a T-plan house. The rectangular building to the South has had a wing added to the South-East end, forming an L-plan steading. There are smaller rectangular buildings to the East of the house, at least one to the South-West of the L-plan building, and another to its East. The farmhouse is still on the same orientation, but has an extension off the South-East gable, and is still T-plan, but with a wing projecting from the South-West elevation, rather than the North-East as previously seen. The steading has been further extended, with a wing projecting to the South-West, and another to the South-East in the place where the buildings seen on the 2nd edition OS map were, to the South-West of the L-plan building. These additional wings create a U-plan court, open to the South-East, with the wing built in the 19th century to create an L-plan building projecting to the North-East. The court has been partially filled with a rectangular building oriented North-East/South-West. The rectangular building to the East of the steading remains, and has had a porch added to the entrance on the South-West elevation. The rectangular building to the East of the farmhouse also remains, and it appears slightly altered. The farmhouse is a small, plain, harled single-storey building, with slate roofs and end stacks. The extension to the South-East is slightly lower than the main farmhouse building.
