Black Watch war memorial, standing alongside the A90, facing south. The memorial takes the form of statue of a kilted Black Watch soldier, unarmed and standing at ease, raised on a plinth, to which is affixed a plaque commemorating Black Watch losses in the Second World War and other conflicts. Unveiled in 1959 by HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother in her role as Honorary Colonel in Chief of the Black Watch. Full transcription of memorial held in AAS Digital Archive.
