Details Remains of a gasworks complex. On the 1st edition OS map the gasworks is shown as having two gasometers and a set of buildings which line the north of the railway. By the 2nd edition OS map the smaller of the two gasometers has been removed and replaced by a larger gasometer. The 2006 map shows that only a building fronting on to North Street remains. This is a fine two-storeyed office block built from dressed yellow sandstone, with a piended slate roof.
