Details Site of a possible cist. The 20th century antiquary, Reid, recorded that in 1760, a conical vessel, a 'bunch of arrows' and 'a pit of hewn stones' 0.4 m deep containing human remains was discovered, a find which from the description most probably dates from the Bronze Age.
