Details Site of a linen mill. On the 1st edition OS map the factory is shown as a P-shaped range and annotated as a handloom factory for linen. By the 2nd edition OS map this building (apart perhaps from two cottages at the south) has been removed and a large textile works, called 'Station Works' and again annotated as for linen has been built. (Presumably the handloom factory continued production whilst the mechanised works was being built and was demolished when no longer needed). The 2006 map shows that this building has been removed and the site has been redeveloped for housing. The two cottages at the south of the site may be original.
