Details Former coaching inn, now disused, built in circa 1800. It is shown on the 1st edition OS map as an irregular building with a stable yard and a rectangular building to the rear. On the 2nd edition OS map the stable yard has been mostly filled, and the hotel building extended to incorporate or replace the rectangular building. Current maps show further alterations. It is a three-storey, building with a doorpiece and fanlight on the ground floor with three windows to each floor above. It is stuccoed with a cill, lintel and moulded eaves course, with two small original dormers. It remained in use as a hotel until recently, closing by October 2014.
