Remains of a circular corbelled 'beehive' structure, made of flattish stones. It has a small (0.7m square) entrance on the south. In 1954, when described by Wainwright, its external diameter was 3.5m and its height 1.5m. He also noted that the occupants of the farm at Waterhead thought it was an illicit still. The OS visited the site in 1967 and concluded that it was modern, not a still because there is no convenient water and it is probably a shelter for sheep. Not depicted on the OS maps.
