Details Site of a castle. Warden and Jervise record that there was a castle at Pitairlie when the lands were owned by the Lindsays in the 15th-16th century. The only visible remains of the castle, they noted, was a stone built into the wall of the then farm offices, bearing the initials and date 'AL:IC:1631'.
