Details Cropmarks of an unenclosed settlement recorded by the RCAHMS from 1982 onwards. The remains are aligned approximately east-west and comprises numerous dark discoid and crescentic cropmarks representing the remains of prehistoric timber roundhouses. These structures, characteristic of lowland settlement in the 1st millennium BC, range in size from approximately 12-20m in diameter and are aligned along the northwest side of what appears to be a former watercourse. Enclosures and cultivation remains also occur as cropmarks.
