Details This intermediate station on the Edinburgh-Dundee-Aberdeen main line of the former North British Railway (which was grouped into the London and North Eastern Railway) was opened (as Barry Station) by the Dundee and Aberdeen Railway on 31 July 1851. It was renamed Barry Links Station on 1 April 1919 and remains open to regular passenger traffic.
