Cropmarks of a single, curved pit alignment, recorded by the RCAHMS during aerial reconnaissance in 1978. It runs north-south for 40 m, at right angles to the Vinny Water. There is no visible reason for its deviation from a straight course, but this may have been to avoid a structure since destroyed. A linear feature, broken into small sections, runs approximately parallel to the pit alignment, which lies 40 m to the east. The relationship between them is not known.
