An Accessory Vessel of the Food-Vessel type discovered by Wm Adam on West Skichen farm in 1897. The vessel was found at the side of a knoll of sand and gravel, where some subsidence had taken place, in an inverted position with the base just protruding from the soil. It is.8cm high and 7.6cm in diameter across the mouth, has four, pierced, equi-distant lugs and tapers to a concave base only 4.5cm in diameter. It was purchased for the NMAS in 1898. The OS visited the findspot in 1966 and discovered that it is at the base of the south side of a natural sand and gravel knoll.
