Details Site of a castle. According to Warden the castle stood about 100 yds from the farmhouse in use in circa 1880. A small part of the ruins, moss-grown, still remained at that time. The original appearance of the castle is unknown. The property was owned by the Carnegies from the 15th-18th century. The OS visited in 1966 and reported that the site of the castle is situated in a flat, arable field with no traces visible above ground.
