Remains of a holy well. The 19th century antiquary, Cruickshank, noted that it has always borne the name of 'Mary's Well' and that 'Silver coins and other votive offerings have been found in it'. It lies to the south of the parish church of Lethnot. When visited by the OS in 1958, it was recorded that St Mary's Well is a spring emitting from the foot of a natural bank. There is no built-up well about it.
