Details Former drill hall built in 1897, designed by Major Thomas Martin Cappon of Dundee. It has a two-storey front block, the central stepped bay gabled with circular attic light, arched recessed porch flanked by pilasters, and 4-light mullion and transome window on the first floor. Above the arch is sculptured the Black Watch badge supported by lion and unicorn. In 1914 the hall was the base for 'D' Company, 5th Black Watch.
