Site of a castle. The castle is recorded at Dalbog before 1528. Until its demolition at the end of the 19th century, a building with very thick walls, known as 'the castle' stood at the east end of Wood of Dalbog farm-house. The OS recorded in 1971 that the current farmer, aware of the tradition of the castle was occasionally ploughing up stones in the area centred NO 5958 7120 by the east of the farm buildings and on the site indicated on the OS maps from the 2nd edition map onwards.
