Cairn. Situated on a short ridge which falls away sharply on the south-west, this small cairn of stones is 10m in diameter, and 0.4m high. The cairn has been disturbed, a shelter or shooting butt has been formed by piling up many of the stones, forming a structure 1m high. Further evidence of disturbance is that only two large stones of the retaining kerb have been recorded, one on the south-east, the other on the west. It has been shown on the OS maps since the 1st edition map of 1867.
