A line of anti-tank blocks visible on RAF photographs taken in 1942. This exit from the beach was obstructed by three short sets of anti-tank cubes: along the top of the beach north of the mouth of the burn, a line across the burn, and a line along the beach to the south. Aerial photographs taken in 1995 showed that the length covering the road had been removed but a short V-shaped section was still visible. Coastal zone assessment survey carried out by SCAPE between February and March 2009 recorded a number of blocks partly tumbled and buried in the sand, although better preserved away from the beach. Some have been painted and incorporated into an area of habitation.
