Details	Remains of a railway station which is shown on both the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps. It opened to passengers on 04/12/1838 and closed on 05/12/1955. It was a double platformed through station with goods yard and sidings to the north. The 2006 map shows that the station building survives in heavily modified condition as a residence.
