Farmstead, still in use, depicted on historic OS maps. The 1st edition (25 inch 1865) shows a U-plan steading, open to the south with an attached horse mill on its north side, and a T-plan building (now cottages) forming the fourth side of the court. To the west of the southwest corner of the steading is a gasometer, circular in plan, with two rectangular buildings. By the time of the 2nd edition, the gasometer had been removed, the steading further extended and added to, including partial infilling of the court, and a rectangular building has been added to the west. Current OS maps indicate that much of the steading and the three buildings to the west are no longer in use, and that the horsemill has been removed.
