Details Farmstead, still in use, shown on the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps. On the 1st edition OS map it is shown as a quadrangular steading. The north range is made up of two L-plan building, leaving a central entrance. The west range has been extended to the west. The south range is made up of three separate buildings, the central one of which has an L-plan building adjacent to the south. There are two large buildings within the court, dividing it into two. There is a rectangular and U-plan building to the east and a pond to the west. There is a rectangular enclosure to the south, divided into two with a pond at the south-east corner. On the 2nd edition OS map, the court has been almost entirely filled. The central and eastern building of the southern range have been extended into one. The rectangular building to the east has been removed and a pump is depicted to the south of the U-plan building. The enclosure to the south is no longer divided, both ponds have been infilled. Current maps show that the buildings have been replaced or incorporated into modern steading buildings, although the southern range and U-plan building to the east remain. The pump has also been removed.
