Details Former drill hall which is shown on the OS maps from the 2nd edition OS map onwards and was in existence from by 1903. A two and three storey front block stands in front of a large hall. In 1914 the hall was drill station for 'D' Squadron, Fife and Forfar Yeomanry, base for Forfar Battery, 2nd Highland Brigade Royal Field Artillery, and the HQ and 'E' and 'F' Companies of the 5th battalion Black Watch. It was in use as a community centre on the date of visit by RCAHMS on 12 January 1995.
