Details Cropmarks of ring-ditches recorded by the RCAHMS during aerial reconnaissance from 1976 onwards and by CUCAP in 1977. Two small ring-ditches, each with an internal diameter of about 1.5m lie 500m northeast of Arrat's Mill. The ring-ditches are situated to the north of the track leading to the sand and gravel pits. They both have a rectilinear appearance although the northern one of the two (at NO 6474 5886) is more rounded and slightly smaller than the one to the south (at NO 6483 5885) which may have a slight gap to the northeast. Both are less than 3m across and there are a few other small maculae in the field which also contains cropmarks of rig and furrow.
