Remains of a mill depicted as a corn mill on the OS 1st edition map, comprising three adjoining buildings on main orientation of west-northwest to east-southeast. The most northerly is L-shaped, the central one T-shaped and the southern one rectangular with small projecting buildings to the south and east. Two large mill ponds lie to the southwest, with lades and sluices leading to the mill. By the time of the 2nd edition map it had become disused. The 2005 map and recent aerial photograph coverage show that the mill buildings are derelict and that the ponds remain, although they are partially choked and infilled. Recorded during coastal zone assessment survey carried out by SCAPE between February and March 2009. The coarse stone built mill buildings comprised two east-west aligned buildings and two abutting north-south buildings. A brick built chimney was recorded at the western edge of the southernmost building. The roofs of the buildings have collapsed. There is evidence for sluice features. A further building to the southwest may also be associated with the complex.
